Maternity Session at Enchanted Rock State Park
West Texas is void of having anything adventurous so I love getting the opportunity to travel to other parts of Texas to photograph new clients! This mama wanted a scenic look for her pictures so we headed to Enchanted Rock outside of Fredericksburg, Texas. This is a rocky landscape that features a giant granite dome which hikers can attempt to climb and reach the summit. I got there early to try it myself and boy was it hard. I knew this mama may not be able to make the trek so we decided to only climb part of the way up. I love how brave and strong she was to even try climbing any of these rocks while pregnant! We got an amazing sunset and she looked so beautiful even while climbing. Texas has a pretty flat landscape so choosing a location that has views is going to give you some amazing photos. We started at the base of the dome and slowly worked our way up , stopping at various rock structures to get more photos. If you are a fit, and agile executing mother, I highly recommend this beautiful spot in Texas.
